What are the start and end times of each day of the conference?

An estimate of each conference day's start and end time is between 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM, with registration beginning at 8:00 AM.

What will be the duration of the paper presentations?

Each presenter has 20 minutes per paper to present. Presenters may choose to have 15 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for Q&A.

How many minutes will each presenter get for the symposium?

Accepted Answer

All sessions will be 1.5 hours long, with 3-4 presentations. This time can be divided according to the discretion of the Chair/Discussant. For example, if there are four papers in a symposium, each presenter could take 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for the Discussant to elaborate on the various presentations.

Is there any program for doctoral and graduate students as part of InCRECE 2024?

Yes, our Summer School, InSuDoc2024, will be held from May 30-31, right before InCRECE 2024. InSuDoc2024 offers specialized workshops by internationally renowned scholars and multiple opportunities to network with professors and students in the field. If a student applies for both InSuDoc2024 and InCRECE 2024, a single receipt and certificate of participation will be written to facilitate the students' application for funding.

Is there any funding support for students or participants with financial constraints?

We are offering registration fees at three levels. Students, participants from low-income economies, and Hong Kong residents are entitled to pay the lowest registration fee of 1,300 HKD.

When will I know if I am accepted to participate in InCRECE 2024?

Accepted Answer

You will be informed by March 10, 2024. The email will contain the formal invitation letter to participate in InCRECE 2024, which you can use to apply for funding in your institution.

If admitted, how can I pay the registration fees?

In our acceptance email, we will include a link for you to pay your registration fees.

What are the payment methods available?

We accept credit cards (VISA/Masters), Union Pay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.

Will I receive confirmation of my payment?

Accepted Answer

Upon receipt of your registration fee, an official receipt will be issued to you. Please note that registration will only be processed if accompanied by full payment.

Question 10

What is the cancellation and refund policy on registration for InCRECE 2024

Accepted Answer

Cancellation made on or before April 15, 2024: Refund will be arranged with an administrative charge of 250 HKD to be deducted from the amount.   
Cancellation made after April 15, 2024: No refund will be arranged.
